Embodied Text Analysis

Hi ya!

I’m Caitlin (she/her, they/them), an actor based out of Portland, Oregon. Favorite roles have included Beatrice in Much Ado, Rosalind in As You Like It, Salome in Luna Noctiluca, Josie in The Skriker, and Celimene in Le Misanthrope.

I’m an avid lover of fantasy and Dungeons & Dragons. Each month I improvise a range of fantasy characters in a variety of table-top role-playing games.

I grew up spending my summers under the canopy of the Northern California redwoods, building extensive blanket forts and building rocket ships out of cardboard, and squeezing my eyes shut, willing my fingers to produce smallest spark of magic.

I’m drawn to collaborative methods of storytelling and characters who disrupt & break the mold.

(coming soon!)

“Lushington’s performance is wide-eyed and emphatic; she makes all kinds of strange, expressive noises, and at one point literally cartwheels out of Orlando’s arms. The goofiness might seem over the top if she didn’t have such a charismatic character to play. The unabashed, giddily feminine orchestrator of much of the plot, Rosalind is one of Shakespeare’s most enthralling characters, and Lushington does her justice.” – Willamette Weekly
